Hi everyone
I hope you enjoyed the end of term 3 break with your children and families. I survived the Carnarvon Great Walk and brought my wife and children home too! It was a serious adventure- my phobia of heights was put to a stringent test.
Next week we will hold interviews with our prep students for 2022- please register any prep enrolments at the office asap- if you’ve not already done so.
There is an online P&C meeting next Wednesday 13 October at 6:00pm for 6:15pm start.

Are you our next Tuckshop Convenor?
The role for a Tuckshop Convenor is still available, the role will be for an initial 10 hours per week, and really the role will be yours to shape and mould. We would love to support a local community member to help reestablish and run our Tuckshop - and as the tuckshop grows, so will your hours! Movie Night - Friday 15 October
Our movie night this year will be on Friday 15 October and we shall be screening "Lego Movie 2". It is fast approaching so it is important to order your tickets on Qkr! now.
Food orders and platters can also be purchased now on Qkr! By doing this it will help us with catering requirements for the event.
We will need volunteer parents to assist with the food prep and set up, BBQ cooking, Candy bar, parents bar and pack up! Email uniforms@burandasspandc.org.au to volunteer or call Jodie on 0433 216 243

Hello from the Team at Helping Hands.
What a huge vacation care time we had. Though, some people missed out on places because not enough notice was given to organise staff. We try super hard to accommodate late bookings, however, it is dependent on staff. We have inclusion support for holidays but if you try to book in late, it means we lose inclusion support due to numbers. As I am sure you can appreciate, this makes ours and your children's experience here more of a struggle. For example, one day I had 10 extra children try to book in! I know things pop up in life and that it can be hard to plan but please appreciate how impossible it is to manifest a staff member during holidays. Unfortunately, I will be turning bookings away next holidays to stop the much-needed inclusion support from being taken away.
